Partners for a cleaner today and greener tomorrow
Reino Linen Service is committed to protecting the environment and has

instituted business practices that enable the recycling of commonly used materials and avoid pollution. Reino continues to partner with its customers to maximize the effectiveness of these practices.
Chemically "Green" as Certified by the EPA
Reino is working with a chemical company that has installed and continually monitors an EPA certified "Green" chemical program. This certification

means that the laundry detergent used to process the healthcare linens at Reino has been approved as "Green" by the EPA; this laundry detergent must not only clean the linens to the highest standards but must comply with rigorous requirements.
Management of Disposables and Non-Linen Items
Reino has developed a recyclable bag program, which is available to all of our customers. This program uses virgin, plastic bags, which can be recycled with no waste deposited into the refuse stream. Internally, Reino captures all of the recyclable waste, bundles it, and sends it to a recycling company where it can be repurposed.
Management of Non-Linen Items Mixed in with Linens
Reino has developed a system for capturing, identifying, and managing all non-linen items that are mixed in with the incoming soiled linen. This system consists of identification at the sort line, documentation by the supervisor,

notification of the originating source, returning to the originating source, and when appropriate, medically approved disposal with a medical waste company. All Reino customers receive a monthly report and, in addition, are notified immediately when an item of high interest is discovered in the soiled linen.
